DrumStick Milk Curry

Drumstick Milk curry recipe – This is one of the most simplest and easiest South Indian curry made with drumsticks.

This onion Milk based drumstick curry is thin, light and a bit spicy. It has got full-on flavors of the drumsticks in it. Goes well with steamed rice.

Ingredients for drumstick curry Serving for 3 members
· Oil – 4 table spoons
· Cumin Seeds-1/2 tea spoon
· Mustard Seeds-1/2 tea Spoon
· Curry leaves- 8 leaves
· Green Chillies-4 chopped
· Onions- 3 medium sized chopped
· Salt- 1 table spoons
· Chili powder- 2 Table spoons
· Turmeric- ½ table spoon
· Drum Sticks – 10 scrapped and chopped to medium pieces
· Milk- ½ cup(boiled)
· Water- 1 ½ cup
· Coriander leaves- for garnishing(optional)

How to make Drumstick Milk curry

Step 1:
Add 4 table spoons of oil in a pan over medium flame. Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Then add cumin seeds. Add Curry leaves. After few seconds, add chopped green chilies and salute for 1-2 minutes.


Step 2:
Now add onions and salute them on low flame until they turn pink. Add chopped Drumsticks and cook for another 2-3 minutes.


Step 3:
Add 1 Table Spoon of Salt and 2 table spoons of chili powder.

Step 4:
Add 1 ½ Cup of water and put the lid cook for 4-5 minutes until the Drum Sticks are cooked. Check the Drumsticks are cooked by pressing them they will separate.


Step 5:
Now Add 1 ½ Cup of boiled Milk and Put lid and Cook for 1 minute.


Step 6:
Now Add Chopped Coriander leaves and Turn off the Flame.
Serve with Hot Steamed Rice.


BRINJAL CURRY WITH LESS INGREDIENTS

 Brinjal curry is very commonly made dish. It is a stir fry recipe.It is delicious and flavorful. This brinjal fry is made in few minutes.

    It is very easy to prepare with minimum ingredient’s and mostly made in south India. In Telugu it is called Vankaya Vepudu.
    
    This is my favorite curry and This is first curry which I did while learning cooking. In our childhood my mother used to do this curry once in a week.

· May Promote Blood Sugar Control.



    This brinjal fry goes well with white rice, rasam, sambar. Serving for 2 persons
Ingredients for Brinjal curry
· Oil 4 tbsp
· 1 tsp Cumin seeds
· 1 tsp Mustard seeds
· Salt as per taste
· 1 tsp Red chili powder
· 7 Curry leaves
· 5 Green chili’s
· 1 Medium sized onion
· 12 Brinjal’s
· Coriander leaves (Optional)

Step by Step How to make Brinjal curry

1. Wash the brinjals and add the chopped brinjal pieces into salted water.



2. Heat the frying pan and add oil. Add cumin, mustard seeds When they begin to splutter add curry leaves.




3. Add green chilies and onion fry for 2 to 3 mins.


4. Now add chopped brinjal pieces and fry for 3 more mins.


5. When the brinjal pieces turn soft and tender sprinkle turmeric, red chilli powder and salt.


6. Cover the lid and cook in low flame for 3 mins.


7. At last add coriander leaves (optional) switch off the stove.
8. Our delicious brinjal fry is ready to serve.
