STONE PAINTING OF LADY BUG'S

     Today we are going to paint stone as colorful lady bug's. Painting stones with acrylic paint is a fun, inexpensive craft you can do with anyone.

    These stone arts are cute and adorable, also you can enjoy the joy of painting creating beautiful home decor's.


    It's easy and simple so children love to paint stones as a part of their play.Let's start painting.

Thing's required

  • Acrylic paints
  • Stone
  • Painting brushes
  • Jar of water
  • Tissue paper
Steps to paint

  • Cleanly wash and dry the stone you want to paint.

  • Paint the background with the colors of your choice Ex: yellow, red, orange, blue, pink, green.

  • Let the background dry completely. Paint the front part with black color as shown.

  • Draw the straight line in the middle with black color.

  • Now paint the black dots as shown.


  • Paint the eyes of the bug's with white and black color.

  • Paint the mouth of the bugs with white color.let the colors dry completely.

  • Our beautiful lady bug's are ready.

EASY PRAWNS BIRYANI IN PRESSURE COOKER RECIPE

     Today we are going to prepare easy and tasty prawns biryani in pressure cooker.

    Biryani is a delicious dish made by cooking fragrant basmati rice with spices and herbs. This prawns biryani recipe is the way I make foodies at home. It is much simpler to make than any other biryani varieties. We can easily make this for lunch boxes.


    A raita or a bowl of fresh veggie salad goes well with this biryani. It will be much easier if you keep  your prawns fried at night so that you can cook the biryani quickly.

Ingredients

  • Prawns medium sized 200gms (washed and cleaned with salt and turmeric)
  • Onion 1 large (chopped)
  • Tomato 1 (chopped)
  • Garam masala or biryani masala 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Mint leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil 4 tbsp 
  • Basmati rice washed and soaked 1 cup
  • Shahi jeera 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Water for boiling basmati rice 1/2 cup
Note: For any type of prawn recipes we should clean them properly by removing the black hair like thing on prawns, its poisonous.
Preparation

  • Carefully clean and wash the prawns with rock salt and turmeric powder, drain the water completely.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and mix them.

  • Heat oil in a pan, Add mint leaves also add prawns.

  • Stir fry them in medium flame, keep tossing them until they are completely fried. keep them aside.

  • Now heat oil in a pressure cooker.

  • Add shahi jeera in the oil.

  • Add onions, tomato , mint, coriander and curry leaves, let them cook for 2 mins.

  • Add the fried prawns to it and stir them, also add garam masala powder.

  • When oil gets separated add basmati rice and mix well.

  • Now add 1 cup of water to it, also add salt and close the lid. 

  • Wait  for 2 whistles in a medium flame. Switch off the stove.

  • Our hot prawns biryani in pressure cooker is ready to be served.

RESTAURANT STYLE VEG DUM BIRYANI RECIPE

     Today we are going to prepare restaurant style veg dum biryani. It became very popular as one of the most nutritious, rich and royal foods. There are so many kinds of veg biryani one gets to see on a restaurant menu like Hyderabadi biryani, kerala biryani, etc.


    Children love to eat this biryani as it is one of the most popular, aromatic and delicious food. It's very flavorful because of the premium quality spices, masala powders, herbs and vegetables used. It's  kid's friendly and a perfect meal for your entire family also goes well in the office & school lunch boxes.  


 

Ingredients

Cooking rice

  • 2 cups basmati rice 
  • 1/4 tsp Shahi jeera
  • pepper 4
  • Elachi
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee or oil 1 tsp

Dry spices

  • 2 Inch cinnamon  stick
  • 2 Cardamoms
  • Cloves 5
  • 2 Stands mace
  • 1 Star anise
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp Shahi jeera
Veggies

  • Onion 1 large , chopped
  • 8 Florets cauliflower medium sized
  • 1 Potato large , cubed
  • 2 carrots large ,chopped
  • 1 capsicum , chopped
  • 4 to 5 Beans chopped
  • Corn seeds 4 tbsp
  •  2 tbsp mint leaves
  • 2 green chilies
Masala's

  • 1/3 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp biryani masala powder or garam masala powder
  • 1 cup curd (thick to soak veggies)
Preparation

  • Wash and soak rice for at least 30 mins. 
  • Heat oil or ghee in a pan, add all the dry spices except Shahi jeera. Sauté till you get an aroma.Take shahi jeera and sauté until they crackle.
  • Add ginger garlic paste ,sauté till raw small goes off.
  • Add onions, all the vegetables soaked in curd and fry for 2 to 3 mins.

  • Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, biryani masala powder.
  • Mix well and cover with a lid. while veggies are getting cooked, you can proceed with the next step.

  • In a large pot add water to boil, add oil shahi jeera, bay leaf, adjust the salt as needed.
  • Add washed, soaked and drained basmati rice.
  • Cook this rice till it is 90%done.

  • Drain off the excess water and set aside.
  • Remove the cooked vegetables water a little and keep aside. 

  • When veggies releasing oil check the taste according to your taste. Add salt ,chili powder mix well and set aside half of the curry.

     
  • Add  some basmati rice on the top.



  • Add mint leaves, coriander leaves on the top of rice, also add the water of veggies on the rice.

  • Add the curry and repeat layering rice, mint, coriander leaves.
  • Begin to heat an old bottom tawa and proceed with the next step.

  • Place the lid and a heavy vessel on the lid.
  • Cook this way 5 to 7 mins. The biryani rice turns out perfect. Allow it to rest  for at least 15 mins.

COUPLE WALKING ON RAILWAY TRACK IN A FOREST

Things Required

  • Canvas or drawing sheet

  • Painting brushes
  • Jar of water
  • Tissue papers
  • Piece of sponge
  • Acrylic colors
Steps to paint

  • Take the canvas you want to paint.

  • Paint the background with blue,back,white,sap green colors.

  • Paint last part with brown color.blend them nicely.

  • Let the background dry completely.Paint the leaves with violet color.

  • Paint some more plants and leaves with the help of sponge by tapping it.

  • Use the colors yellow ocher,pink,green,white to paint the trees.

  • Paint the branches of the trees with black color.

  • Draw the trees and branches on both sides.

  • Paint the leaves with purple and white colors.
  • Now draw the ground and the railway track with brown,white, black and yellow ocher colors.

  • Highlight the track with white color. and paint the bushes and plants with green, yellow colors.

  • Draw the outline of the couple on the track.

  • Paint the dress of the girl and the boy with light blue,white, and black colors.paint the hands with skin color.

  • Paint the highlights and the sunlight with white color.our beautiful painting is ready.

PALAK PULAO/PALAKURA PULAO

     Today we are going to make healthy and tasty spinach rice recipe. This is a very simple one pot recipe of Palak Pulao.

    For kids who do not like green leafy veggies- the greens can always be added to recipes where their presence is hidden and this is one of such recipe.


We can serve Palak Pulao with a side Salad, Raita or Pickle.

Here I am doing this with normal rice but you can use Basmati rice for best results.

 Ingredients

  • Fresh palak washed and chopped 2 cups
  • Rice 2 cups washed and soaked

  • Garlic cloves
  • Ginger 2 pieces
  • Garam Masala (optional)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Potato 1 chopped
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Bay leaf or Tej Patta
  • Green chilies 5
  • Cloves 4
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon
  • Water 4 cups
  • Onion 1 big sized sliced
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
How to make Palak Pulao

  • Wash the rice and soak them for 15 minutes.

  • Rinse spinach leaves very well and chop them roughly.

  • Now add green chilies, spinach leaves in a blender or grinder jar.Also add ginger,garlic cloves,garam masala.


  • Blend to a smooth puree and keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan

  • Add the following spices and saute them till they splutter- Indian bay leaf,cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds.

  • Next add thinly sliced onion.stir and saute them till they turn golden brown color.

  • Add the spinach puree.stir and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Now add potato and tomato pieces also add salt and cover with lid.

  • Add this mixture to the rice , also add required salt and water mix well.Cover with a lid.

  • Stir in between also add lemon juice.

  • Cook for 15 min and palak pulao is ready to be served.
