CHAMA DUMPA VEPUDU/COLOCASIA ROOTS STIR FRY/ARBI FRY

     Today we are going to prepare tasty Chama Dumpa Vepudu, it is a simple Andhra recipe.This is one such dish which should be eaten immediately.some how, I don't think reheated arbi fry tastes as good. It goes well with white rice, also as a side dish with sambar rice. Taro root vegetable originally cultivated in Asia but now enjoyed around the world.

Ingredients 

  • Colocasia roots
  • Turmeric 1tbs
  • Garlic cloves
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cilantro
  • Water for Boiling colocasia roots
Steps to be followed

1.Wash the colocasia roots and boil them in enough water till they are cooked.when you run a knife through it. it should go smoothly but the colocasia should be firm.

2.Peel them and cut into pieces.

3.Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves and add boiled colocasia roots.

4.Add turmeric powder to the pieces, keep tossing them in a medium flame.

5.Stir fry them till the pieces turn golden brown and crisp on the outside.

6.Now in a Motar add garlic cloves, crush them.

  

7. Add salt, red chili powder into motar and mix well.

8.Add the prepared mixture to the fried Colocasia roots.

9.Garnish them with cilantro leaves.

PAINTING OF BICYCLE IN A GARDEN WITH FENCE

     Today we are going to draw a blue bicycle in a beautiful garden with a fence,The bicycle basket is filled with flowers and butterflies are flying on the flowers.Let's start our painting.


Thing's required to paint

  • Drawing sheet
  • Painting brushes
  • Pencil
  • Masking tape
  • Acrylic colors
  • Jar of water
  • Tissue paper
Step by step procedure

  • Take the drawing sheet and stick the masking tape on the four boarders.

  • Start painting the background with green,white and lemon yellow colors.

  • Let it dry completely and draw the fence,paint with white color.

  • Paint the green grass around the fence.

  • Highlight the fence with fine lines with black mixed with white color.

  • Sketch the bicycle with pencil.

  • Draw the bushes and flowers on the ground.

  • Paint the bicycle with blue and black colors.

  • Now paint the bicycle basket with burnt umber and white.

  • Paint the flowers in the basket.

  • Draw the butterflies and highlight them.

  • Sign your painting and remove the masking tape, our beautiful bicycle painting is ready.

DONDAKAYA PALILLU PAKODI CURRY/IVY GOURD PAKODI /KOVAKKA FRY

    Dondakaya Pakodi curry is not only quick and easy to prepare but also it's full of flavors.It is a delicious fritter with crispy exterior and soft interior that can be served as evening snack or served as side dish for lunch.It goes well with white rice along with Sambar Dal's.

INGREDIENTS
  • Ivy gourd 25 pieces sliced vertically
  • Gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • pea nuts 1/2 cup
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Water 
  • Coriander leaves (optional)
  • Oil for frying
Steps to be followed
1.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
2.Wash and slice ivy gourd as shown.
3.Now to the sliced dondakaya add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and sprinkle water.
4.Mix well so that Dondakaya is coated well with the dry ingredients.
5.Add dondakaya pieces in batches to the oil and deep fry them in a medium flame.
6.When it looks crispy and evenly colored remove them and transfer them to a plate with paper towel.
7.Now fry the next batch and repeat the process till 
all the dondakaya mixture is over.

8.Now in the same oil deep fry the pea nuts and mix to the fried Dondakaya.
9.Garnish with coriander leaves and our dondakaya peanuts pakodi curry is ready to be served.
