Morning Dew Drop On The Leaf Painting

 Most of us love beauty of nature. I am a nature lover. I love paintings. This is my first blog on painting. Yesterday it rained in our place and Today early morning when I woke up, the climate was so pleasant, As I am enjoying the scenic beauty of my garden, I saw the dew drops falling from the hibiscus leaf which is so beautiful.so I thought of painting it.

    Enjoy the joy of coloring by following the step by step procedure with me as shown below.

Things required

  • Drawing paper
  • Hb pencil
  • Oil pastels
  • Tissue paper (blending tools)
  • Scraper
  • Masking tape
  • Black and white glass marking pencil’s
  • Eraser
  • Whitener

  1. Take a drawing sheet of A4 size stick it on plank
  2. With masking tape on four side’s in such a way that it will not move.
  3. Cut the masking type in a falling drop shape and stick it on sheet.
  4. Draw the outline of the leaf as shown. Start coloring with oil pastels.
  5. Here I used light green, grey, brown color oil pastels.
  6. Cover the outline of the leaf using black color.
  7. Using tissue paper or your finger blend the colors.
  8. Take light orange, white colors draw dots.
  9. Paint the edges of the leaf with fluorescent green color.
  10. Paint the rest of the leaf with sap green color
  11. Blend the leaf color.
  12. Scrape the leaf using scraper and remove the masking tape in the place of water drop
  13. Blend the orange and white dots.
  14. Paint the water drop as shown using HB pencil and sap green color.
  15. .Draw the outlines of leaf with black and white glass marking pencil’s
  16. Remove the masking tape on edges and highlight the leaf using whitener.

CHILI CHICKEN

    Chicken can be served in variety of ways but that's not at all! remember the health benefits of chicken.

    Today’s dish Chili Chicken is my own recipe an authentic and spicy dry type curry made with tender boneless chicken pieces. It’s a bit spicy because of green chili’s used. 

    But its super delicious with bursting flavor’s goes well with white rice and can be used as a side dish for all types of Dal, Sambar, Rasam.

 It just takes 30 mins to prepare. Serving for 2 persons

INGREDIENTS:

  • Tender Bone less Chicken 250 grams
  • 12 nos Green Chili's
  • Egg white 2 nos
  • 4tbs Oil
  • 2tbs Ginger Garlic paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • Lemon 1pc
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala powder
  • coriander leaves

  1. Take 12 Green chilies ,Ginger Garlic Paste, Salt, Egg white, Garam Masala in a mixer jar and grind them to a fine paste.
  2. Add Lemon juice to the paste.
  3. Mix 4 tbsp of oil to the paste.
  4. Take boneless chicken pieces and mix them with the above paste
  5. Keep the marinated chicken for 1hr.
  6. Take a fry pan add the marinated chicken and cook the chicken in a low flame.
  7. Keep tossing it for 10 mins until the chicken becomes tender.
  8. Cover it with lid and cook it for 15mins in a low flame tossing in between till chicken becomes golden brown color.
  9. At-last add coriander leaves and serve hot.

Easy Paper Swing (jhoola, uyalla)

Many of us like Lovely swing’s…. I love swings from childhood.

This is one of the best out of waste project done with Newspapers, Cardboard….

We used to make swing by tying a rope knot to the tree branch near our grandparent’s house in a village and enjoy our swing’s. Remembering that I tried to make a paper swing for you. U can also do it easily along with me and enjoy the joy of crafting.

Things Needed for this Paper Swing

  • ·      News papers
  • ·      Small cardboard
  • ·      Green color paper
  • ·      Scissors
  • ·      Brown color acrylic color (water color)
  • ·      Thermocol balls
  • ·      Pencil
  • ·      Crafting glue
  • ·      Painting brush

 

Let’s start our paper swing making

 

  • Take a cardboard of length 22cm and width 12cm.
  • Warp it with green color paper and glue it to other side.
  • Take the newspaper roll it and secure the end with glue as shown.
  • In the same way make 3 white paper rolls and 10 newspapers rolls.
  • Glue these paper rolls on a paper and cut the extra edges.
  • Color the news paper rolls with dark brown color and let it dry completely.
  • Take 2 white paper rolls of equal length and fold in the middle like a stand as shown in the picture.
  • Keep another white paper roll in the middle of the stand and glue it.
  • Take 10cm length and 6cm width another cardboard and fold the width in the middle at 3cm.
  • Take 2 white paper strips of 3mm and glue to the small cardboard swing chair and secure the ends to the stand.
  • Slightly Bend in the middle of brown paper rolls glue it. and cover the swing stand.
  • Take green color paper make cuts and roll it keep them in 4 corners of the swing and glue them.
  • At last decorate the cover of the swing with thermocol balls. Our lovely swing is ready.

Lady's Finger Fry/ Okra Fry (Bendakaya Vepudu)

Lady's finger (Bendakaya) Fry recipe is a simple and quick veg stir fry recipe made with okra/ bhindi and this bendakaya vepudu is an Andhra style recipe done with very less Ingredients.
Minimal spices and clean flavors makes this dish an all time favorite in our home. Even children can make this recipe very easily. Goes well with steamed rice.

This fry recipe is a perfect side dish along with all Dal recipes and also with Rasam, Pappu Charu (Sambar)
Benefits of Lady's Finger

  1. Lady's finger contains iron and Vitamin K which help in the treatment of anemia by promoting the level of hemoglobin in the body.
  2. Lady's finger contains soluble fiber pectin which helps in lowering bad cholesterol as well as prevents atherosclerosis. It also helps in the elimination of deposited cholesterol and clots.
  3. Lady's finger helps in avoiding sugar spikes after the meal and stabilizes the blood sugar levels.
Ingredients for this Lady's finger fry ....serving for 2 persons
  • 250 gms - Lady's Finger/ Bendakaya/ Okra/ Bhindi
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds/ jeera
  • 8-10 - Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 6 to 7 - Garlic cloves
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Red chili powder
Step by step Instructions

1.Wash lady's Finger well under water, wipe every Lady's Finger until it is dry and cut them into round pieces.

2.Take a pan add oil and heat it.

3. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves let them crackle.

4. Add the Lady's Finger pieces into it and stir on high flame for few minutes.
5.Cook for 2-3 minutes on sim flame and keep tossing in between until Lady's Finger changes its color.

6.Add Garlic cloves and cook again for 2-3 minutes and stir.
7.Add turmeric powder,salt and stir in between continuously.

8. Add red chili powder into it, toss/mix well and cook for a minute.

9. Lastly add coriander leaves for garnishing
10. Yummy Yummy Lady's Finger fry is ready to be served.
